We recently had a general visit from the HSE inspector and we showed him the report, explained your system and how it will help us manage our COSHH requirements more effectively. His comments in his report are as follows:
" I was shown the excellent work undertaken with Ethos Solutions in relation to COSHH assessments."
He commented at the visit that he liked the fact that report took you through assessing each activity and hazards associated with the substance, and not just assessing the substance as so often is the case.
As you are aware we looked at various systems before deciding to go with COSHH365 and Ethos Solution. The reason we decided on your Company is that we found it offered the best solution for us. It allows us to let you help us manage our COSHH requirements but still allows us the control of carrying out our own assessments in house.
We found with the other systems that we either had to do all the work ourselves, or as in the case of Sypol, we had too little control, as they gave you access to risk assessments already produced, or provided too generic assessments that we believed we would not be able to justify if the need ever arose.
Having dealt with various people at Ethos Solution from initial enquiries with John King through to where we are now, we get the impression that you are a Company we can work with going forward, who are down to earth and will listen to us, are passionate about your system, and will not treat us like a little fish in a big pond which may or may not have happened with other suppliers.
